Job Description: Liquid Thought is seeking an exceptional .NET developer with a passion for solving complex problems to work on state-of-the-art web technologies based on Microsoft .NET.

Working with a development team, you will have a major impact on the design and implementation of web applications. Your code will be used by thousands of users. The ideal candidate is a proactive and hardworking developer who wants to take ownership and responsibility for developing best-of-class web applications. The ideal candidate will combine the ability to see and communicate big-picture issues, yet also have a passion for detail. We have a small, nimble team which fosters innovation, rapid application iteration, teamwork, and feature delivery. The ideal candidate needs the ability to quickly learn new concepts and apply them and organize their workload effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with a highly skilled team in the design and implementation of web apps
  • Gather application requirements from users
  • Create functional specifications
  • Design technical solution, including class design and database design
  • Build, test and debug solution with team
Required Experience:
  • 5+ years of systems development experience (general)
  • 3+ years of C#, ASP.NET
  • Thorough understanding of ADO.NET and SQL
  • Solid experience with web services (.NET or Java)
  • XML (DOM manipulation, XML parsing, XPATH)
  • Proficiency with JavaScript
  • Experience with IIS configuration (applications, virtual directories, IIS security, Windows ACLs, SSL certificates, etc.)
  • Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management
Preferred Experience:
  • LINQ
